Fendt unveils robust new telehandler with a bird’s-eye view

Unveiled for the first time at Agritechnica, Fendt’s new telehandler offers something of a view.

The Cargo T955 — the first telehandler under the Fendt brand — features a lifting cab, with floor-to-ceiling visibility with its continuous windscreen.

“The lift cab is very special. So we have best overall visibility,” says Fendt’s Mirjam Kleinknecht, in this interview filmed in Germany. “When the cab is on the highest position, we have an eye level of about 4.25 metres…”

The telehandler has a load capacity of 5.5 t, and a lifting height of 8.5 metres. Even at its maximum height, the cab is equipped with vibration damping, ensuring operator comfort.

According to Fendt, it “combines the advantages of a conventional telehandler – such as lifting height, reach, low body height, high manoeuvrability while being incredibly stable – with the performance characteristics of a wheel loader in the same weight class.”

The Cargo T955 was built in cooperation with SENNEBOGEN Maschinenfabrik GmbH, and will be sold starting in 2020.
