Canola School: Manufacturers Address Common Mistakes Farmers make Adjusting their Combine

Canola harvest is still a few months away, but it’s still a good time to get familiar with your combine. Last weeks “Picking up Profits” combine clinic put on by the Canola Council of Canada brought industry experts as well as a number of different combine manufacturers together in an effort to help producers limit their losses at harvest time. Industry representatives from Martin Deerline (John Deere), The Alberta Harvest Centre (Lexion), AGCO (Massey Ferguson), Hi-Way Service (Case IH) and Hammer New Holland were in attendance providing individual clinics on how to properly operate their respective machines. Taking advantage of this, we asked each of the reps about some of the most common mistakes they see farmers make adjusting their combines.
